I am always looking for new ways to use lemon curd. If it were socially acceptable, I would put it on my breakfast cereal. These Lemon-Rosemary Linzer Cookies were a bit of late night inspiration but will now be a standard in my rotation. The rosemary is a just-barely-there flavor note that compliments the lemon and brings out the hint of salt. They’re addictive.

Interstellar Cake
There’s nothing I like better than inserting myself into someone else’s special event. But I have a pretty good excuse. As an extrovert who is also unfortunately awkward socially, I love going to parties but struggle to enjoy myself because half the time I can’t hear the other person over the voice in my head going, “You’re talking about yourself again. Is her name Heather or Michelle? You should have worn the other earrings.” I just recently figured out that I do much better at social events if I have a job, task or role. Earl Grey-Lavender and Lemon Tart
I had the pleasure of hosting a spring baby shower for a dear friend. I wanted to make something really special for dessert. The mom-to-be loves lavender. I love lavender and Earl Grey! I’ve made a lot of cakes that combine Earl Grey, lavender, and dark chocolate but this occasion called for something lighter.
